The Hero For All Campaign led by Alden Richards, the AR Foundation, and Casino Plus has reached a major milestone as the program officially held its final jury deliberation on May 8, 2026 in Bonifacio Global City. The initiative aims to recognize inspiring everyday Filipino heroes whose stories of compassion, sacrifice, resilience, and service continue to uplift communities across the Philippines. The campaign highlights how ordinary Filipinos can create extraordinary impact through simple yet meaningful acts of kindness and leadership.

Launched on April 9, 2026, the Hero For All Campaign quickly gathered hundreds of nominations from across the country through social media entries, website submissions, endorsements from local government units (LGUs), and support from non-government organizations (NGOs). Nominees qualified for the program by demonstrating documented acts of heroism and meaningful community contribution within the last five years. Supporting materials such as videos, photos, and published articles were also reviewed as part of the validation process to ensure transparency and credibility.

To uphold fairness and integrity in the selection process, the campaign assembled a respected multi-sector jury panel composed of leaders from media, academe, government, and civil society. Among the jurors were Joy Flavier-Alampay of the Ramon Magsaysay Transformative Leadership Institute, Tina Arceo-Dumlao of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Ma. Teresa Habitan of the Philippine Tax Academy, Ramon P. Tuazon of the Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication, PAGCOR Senior Vice President Daniel Cecilio, and award-winning actor Alden Richards himself, who also serves as Casino Plus Lead Advocate.

According to Casino Plus, the Hero For All initiative was created to celebrate stories that remind Filipinos that hope, courage, and compassion still exist even during difficult times. The organization emphasized that many acts of heroism often happen quietly in communities without recognition, making the campaign an important platform to honor individuals who continue to serve others selflessly.

The deliberation process focused not on popularity, but on authenticity, long-term impact, and what organizers call “story transferability” — the ability of a nominee’s actions to inspire similar acts of kindness and civic responsibility in other communities. Jurors independently evaluated every nominee using a clearly defined scoring framework before participating in the final deliberations.

The Hero For All Campaign will culminate in a grand awarding ceremony on August 31, 2026 in celebration of National Heroes Day. The event will be hosted by award-winning broadcast journalist Pinky Webb and will recognize selected honorees for their exceptional contributions to Philippine society. The initiative continues to reinforce the belief that heroism is not limited to fame or position, but can be found in the everyday actions of ordinary Filipinos making a difference in the lives of others.
